Our alpaca farm is located in Eustis, Florida, about 30 minutes from Orlando and an hour from the beach. We welcome visitors to our farm anytime and are very interested in helping new breeders establish themselves in the industry.

We raise both huacayas and suris and have a small herd of less than 20 alpacas, allowing us to keep our family operation focused on individual breeding decisions and excellent customer service, education and support. We have alpacas in many colors from white to shades of fawn and brown to greys and black. Our goals are to improve fineness and density in the darker colors. Both our suris and huacayas have bloodlines from the best alpacas in the industry including but not limited to Hemingway, Royal Fawn, Silverado, Kenamori Gold, Snowmass Invincible, Grand Master, and Dom Lucilio for the huacayas. We are members of ARI (Alpaca Registry Inc., the national registry database) and AOBA (the national Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association) soon to be members of FABA (Florida Alpaca Breeders Association). We are also active in the show circuit. We attend seminars and support continuing alpaca education.

We are a family run business. My husband Jody and I (Lorri Cummins) are the owners of the farm and run the business i.e. finances, breeding decisions and services offered. My husband works full time at his bagel shop and cafe. I am a full-time physician, an anesthesiologist. My husband and I have two children: Zachary and Kristiana.

My husband's nephew and his family (Chad Bryan and his wife Kristi and their two children) live on the farm, manage the farm and take care of the animals on a daily basis. They also give input on animals and provide farm tours and have a lot of contact with the public on behalf of our farm. Kristi is a stay at home mom and works regularly with the alpacas. Chad is the main husbandry person and also works with my husband at his restaurant.

In addition, my sister, who is a hand spinner and knitter and her husband also joined in and now co-own a few animals with us. They live in Cleveland Ohio and so are remote investors.

We made our first purchases of two pregnant female huacayas in May and then two pregnant suris later that month. We were off and running and then purchased a few females at auction. (I think that we have bought every which way you can.) We insure our herd and run our farm as a business, and are prepared to use our experience to help newcomers to the industry get established.
